Why do you send me text messages?

We send SMS (text) messages to Hosts when they receive a new booking.*


Several Hosts have requested more notice to respond to bookings as they don't always check email but we feel that a Guest should not have to wait more than 24 hrs for a response (many want immediate answers...) so we are doing everything we can to encourage Hosts to respond as quickly as possible.

*So as not to disturb Hosts who might receive bookings throughout the night, any bookings received between 10pm and 9am will send a text message shortly after 9am saying "You received a booking overnight!" unless you have read or responded to the booking in the meantime.
