Have questions about a listing or want to confirm details before making a booking?

Messaging a Host is a great way to clarify information, discuss specific needs, or simply introduce yourself.

This feature allows you to connect directly with the Host, ensuring that their digs are the perfect fit for your stay.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to send a message to a Host before booking, helping you make an informed and confident decision.

1. Log in to your Guest account by tapping on 'Guests'.

2. Search for Digs in the location and for the time period you require.

3. Once you find a Digs listing of interest, tap on the name.

4.  On the next page, scroll down a little, and fill in the form for required rooms, the number of Guests and dates.

Once you have started to fill in these details you will see the 'Contact Host' button:

5. If the dates you have requested are available, you may be prompted to place a booking.

If you wish to contact the Host before booking scroll down and tap 'Message Host before booking' at the bottom of the page.

6. You should then be taken to the messaging facility where you can send the Host a message.

Once you have written your message, please ensure the terms and conditions box is ticked and tap 'Send'.

The terms & conditions box is automatically ticked for convenience. You will not be allowed to send the message if you un-tick the box.

That's it, you're done! You should be notified by email and SMS once you receive a response from the Host but please continue to check your account.
