How to register as a Host.

This tutorial explains how to register your Host account.


After registering as a host, its time to list your Digs and start accepting bookings. These instructions will guide you through the Digs Listing process. If you have any questions then feel free to contact us!

Registering as a Host


1. In order to register as a Host, visit TheatreDigsBooker.com and click on 'Host' tab in the lower centre of the page.




2. Then, click the 'Register as a Host' button.




3. Please specify whether you are a Private Host or a Professional Host


Note: You would be considered a Private Host if you are renting out a room in your home, and the income is not connected to your trade, business, or profession. On the other hand, you would be a Professional Host if hosting is part of your job.




4. Fill out the remaining form with your name, password and contact details.


Mobile Numbers: The site cannot send notifications to non-UK or Ireland mobile numbers. You can still register if you have a foreign number but please remember you may miss out on useful SMS prompts regarding your bookings. Just use the standard mobile format without brackets or hyphens e.g. 001 555 12241223 (not (555) 1224-1223).




5. Read and agree to the TDB Privacy Statement and Terms & Conditions. You will also have to click 'I am not a Robot'. Then click 'Sign Up'.




7. Now it's time to add your address. This information is for our use only - you can add your Digs address later on (if its different!). 




8. Click 'Save and Next Step'. Adding your landline is optional.





9. Now, it's time to add a little information about yourself. We only show this information at the right time to potential guests to protect your privacy.




10. Click on the dropdown to tell us how you heard about us.




11. Here you can choose whether or not you wish to receive marketing content. Click 'Save + Next Step'.





12. This next step is optional, but you can add a profile photo if you wish. Click 'Choose Photo' to begin. 


Note: You can also skip this step and come back to it later.

 



13. If you've already taken your photo, select 'Photo Library' and choose it. If not, you can take a quick pic by clicking on 'Take Photo'.




14. Once you've selected the photo, click 'Yes, upload it.'




15. Once its finished uploading, you should see a big green tick. Click 'Continue'.




16. It's now time to read and agree to the Host's Code of Conduct! Once you have, click the checkbox and then 'Save + Next Step'.





17. If you haven't confirmed your email address already, you will be prompted to do so now. Head over to your email inbox (check your spam if you can't find it too!) The email will look like this:



That's it! You have now registered as a Host. See below for instructions on adding your Digs.

Click on the button 'Add Digs' to get started.
