How do I register as a Guest?

Modified on Thu, 5 Sep at 12:20 PM

Welcome! Thank you for choosing Theatre Digs Booker – the UK’s No.1 theatre accommodation finding website!

This tutorial explains how to register your Guest account.

1. To register as a Guest, first go to TheatreDigsBooker.com and click on the 'Guest' tab to the lower right of the page.

2. Then, click the 'Register as Guest' button.

3. Begin by filling out the form with your email address, desired password and company name (if you have one).

4. Then enter your First and Last name as well as your Mobile Number. You will also have to click 'I am not a Robot' and then 'Sign Up'.

Mobile Numbers: The site cannot send notifications to non-UK or Ireland mobile numbers. You can still register if you have a foreign number but please remember you may miss out on useful SMS prompts regarding your bookings. Just use the standard mobile format without brackets or hyphens e.g. 001 555 12241223 (not (555) 1224-1223).

5.  If you have been given a Tour Code by your Company Manager then it's time to enter it here. This will show you all your tour dates and will allow you to book Digs in relation to them.

A detailed tutorial on Tour Codes can be found here. Alternatively, if you don't have a Tour Code then you can skip this step.

Once you've added your Tour Code, click 'Join tour'.

6. If you successfully added a Tour Code then you will see a big green tick. Click 'Next Step' to proceed, or skip this and jump right into booking your digs.

7. The next page will ask if you are a member of any of our affiliated Professional Bodies. If you are then please pick one from the list and include your membership number or access code.

Access Codes can be found on the members only section of the Professional Bodies website.

If you are a member of one of these, then tap on the checkbox to the left.

Enter the code into the text box provided and then click 'Save and Next Step'.

Alternatively, if you aren't a member of any of these organisations, then feel free to skip this step by clicking 'No, I'm not a member.

Here is a list of links to some of our professional body code pages (you will need to be logged into your respective account):

8. Next, fill out a bit of information about yourself. This will be shown on your profile and to Hosts when you make a booking request.

9. If you would like, click on the dropdown to let us know how you heard about us.

You can also opt into our emails to help keep you updated.

Once you've done this, click 'Save + Next Step'. Alternatively, you can skip this step if you like.

10. Next, if you would like to, you can add a profile picture so hosts can see what you look like. Click 'Choose photo' to begin selecting a profile picture.

As always, Please note that this step is entirely optional.

11. If you've already taken your photo, select 'Photo Library' and choose it. If not, you can take a quick pic by clicking on 'Take Photo'.

12. Once you've selected the photo, click 'Yes, upload it.'

13. Once its finished uploading, you should see a big green tick. Click 'Continue'.

14. It's now time to read and agree to the Guest's Code of Conduct! Once you have, click the checkbox and then 'Save + Next Step'.

15. If you haven't confirmed your email address already, you will be prompted to do so now. Head over to your email inbox (check your spam if you can't find it too!) The email will look like this:

That's it! You have now registered as a Guest. Now you can start booking digs!

Note: If you are not a theatre professional, you can have an account and you will be able to search for and contact those digs that the 'Hosts' have chosen to be available to 'Anyone', and not 'Theatre Professionals Only'.
