How do I book digs? (Guests)

Theatre Digs Booker makes it simple to secure accommodation that fits your needs. 


This guide walks you through each step of the booking process, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish.

 


1. In order to book digs, you must first be logged in as a Guest. Tap on the 'Guests' tab to the right.

 

 

If you are not already registered, please tap on 'Register as a Guest'.

2. Make sure you have tapped on the 'Search' tab. 

 

 


3. You now need to choose a city or a theatre. The 'Type of Accommodation', 'Check In' and 'Check Out' are all optional at this stage. 

  

Choose where you want to stay and then tap 'Find Digs'.

  

 


4. You will now be greeted with a map and a list of Digs which we have on site. 

  


You may wish to refine your search to further suit your needs! 


You can do so by tapping on 'Show Filters' located just underneath.


 


5. Tapping on this will show a drop down menu. From here you can tailor your search to certain criteria to make your stay all the more comfortable! 

 

Tap on the check boxes next to your desired features and then tap 'Refine Search'. 

 

 


6. Once you find a listing you like the look of, tap on the name to see more information.

  

  


7. You can view information about the digs by tapping on the tabs along the top of the listing. 

 

 


8. Scroll down and select your desired room (if available) and number of Guests. 

 

Then choose your check in date and check out date. 

 

The cost of your stay will be listed above the 'Book Now' button. 

 

When you're ready, tap 'Book Now'!

 

 

Note: You will need to confirm your email address before you can make a booking.

 


9. You can now write a message to your Host, confirm that you acknowledge the Privacy Policy,  Terms & the Code of Conduct, and tap 'Book Now'.

 


Note: If you are booking on behalf of another Guest please indicate this on the booking form. 


Fill in the relevant details about the Guest who will be staying in the digs. For more information, see our article on Third Party Bookings.

 

 


10.  You can now choose whether to pay your deposit payment via Link/Stripe, Credit/Debit Card or Paypal. 

 


Paying with with Link/Stripe


You can choose whether to pay the deposit payment by saving your card details with Link/Stripe, which will simplify future payments and speed up the booking process when making multiple bookings, by tapping the green 'Pay with Link' button and following the on-screen instructions:



Don't forget to click on the 'Pay' button at the bottom of the next screen to complete your booking request.



Paying with your Debit/Credit Card

 

If paying by Credit/Debit Card, scroll down and enter your card details then tap the green 'Pay' button:




Paying with PayPal


If paying by PayPal, scroll to the bottom of the screen, and tap the 'Check out with Paypal' button:

 


 


11.  You should then see this screen confirming your booking! (You can check progress of your bookings by visiting your bookings page at any time.Please see this help article).

 

 

Note: Your request is sent to the Host and they have 24 hours to respond. Keep an eye on your email inbox or login and check your profile for status updates.

 

Note: If the Host rejects your booking or takes longer than 24 hours to respond, we will email you to let you know so you can try somewhere else.


Note: If a Host requests for a different payment arrangement than ‘Pay on arrival after inspecting the property’ please ensure they clearly advertised as such and you understand their terms regarding cancellation and refunds as this agreement is strictly between you and the Host.
