Sometimes, Hosts may need a little extra time to review details or finalise schedules before accepting a booking.
Fortunately, Hosts have the option to request additional time (5 days), ensuring they don’t feel rushed into a decision.
This guide walks you through how to easily request an extension, giving you the flexibility to make the best choice for your space and your schedule.
This feature also requires the Host to include a message for the Guest, explaining the reason for extending the period and giving the Guest the option to cancel the booking if needed.
1. Login to your TheatreDigsBooker account by tapping on 'Hosts'.
2. Tap on the 'Bookings' tab.
3) Locate the Booking request and tap 'I need more time'.
4. You should be able to see how long your request will grant you and you will be prompted to write a message to the Guest before you can send the request.
5) Once you have written your message, tap the 'Send Request' Button.
Once your request has gone through TheatreDigsBooker will send you a confirmation of extension email and will also send a reminder email for each day of the extension.
You should also see a confirmation message on your bookings as well as the number of days you have left to accept.
Please note:
- The extension can not go beyond midnight on the check-in date of the booking.
- If the 'expiry due' time of the booking is after 11pm on the night of check-in, the Host will not be offered an extension.
