How to deactivate, reactivate or delete your account

Leaving TheatreDigsBooker or going on a break? 

 

This article will explain how to temporarily deactivate your account, how to reactivate your account and how to permanently delete your account. This Guide will demonstrate how to do so from a Guests perspective, but the Host process is essentially the same.

Deactivating your account

 
In order to deactivate your account, you will first need to make sure that you are logged in.

 

  


1. Tap on 'More' in the bottom right of the screen.

  

 


2. Tap on 'Settings'.

  

 


3. Under the title 'Account deactivation', tap on the orange 'Deactivate Account' button.

  


4. Select the option letting us know why you're deactivating your account and then tap on 'Continue'.

 

Note: You will have slightly different options to select from if you are a Host.

 

 


5. Double check that the email address corresponds with the account you wish to deactivate and click on the big red 'Deactivate' button.

  


Thats it! your account has now been deactivated and you will have been automatically logged out. 

 

This means that:

 

  • You won't receive any messages from other users.
  • Your digs will be hidden if you’re a Host.
  • You'll be taken off any tours if you're a touring Guest.
  • Some information, like your reviews, may remain visible to others.

 

Note: 

  • You can not have any upcoming or requested bookings when deactivating or deleting your account. You have the option to cancel these or wait for your bookings to complete.
  • You can reactivate at any time in the future.

 

 


Reactivating your account

 

To reactivate your account after deactivation, you will first need to make sure that you are logged in.

  

  

Once you have logged in, simply tap on the big green 'Reactivate Account' button.

 

 

 


Permanently deleting your account

 

This process is permanent and cannot be undone. 

  
When you permanently close and delete your account:
 
  • Your personal information will be permanently deleted, except for certain information that we’re legally required or permitted to retain, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
  • Once your account is deleted, you cannot reactivate it, recover any data, or regain access. You'll need to set up a new account if you want to use TheatreDigsBooker again.
     

1. Tap on 'More' in the bottom right of the screen.

  

 


2. Tap on 'Settings'.

  

  


3. Scroll down and tap on 'Delete Account'.

  


4. Tap on the big red 'Delete Account' button. 

  


5. Then, let us know the reason you are leaving and check the box confirming that you wish to delete your account. You can also leave us some feedback about why you're leaving - this is optional however.
 
Once you have completed this, click 'Delete Account'.

 

 

You will then receive an email confirming that your account has been deleted.
