How to suspend or remove a Digs listing

Modified on Mon, 11 Nov at 8:56 AM

As a Host, managing your Digs listing is all about flexibility.

Whether you’re taking a temporary break or deciding to permanently stop Hosting, knowing how to unpublish or delete your listing gives you full control over its visibility.

This article will show how to either unpublish a listing to hide it temporarily or delete it altogether if you're stepping away from Hosting.

Unpublishing your Digs

Hosts can block specific dates to prevent bookings for a set period, snooze your listing to temporarily unpublish it with an automatic republish date, or unpublish indefinitely to remove your listing until you're ready to go live again.

1. Log into your Host account by tapping on 'Hosts'.

2. Tap on the 'Digs' tab.

3. Locate the listing that you wish to edit and tap 'Details' to to show the Digs overview page.

4. Tap on 'Manage Bookability'.

You'll then be taken to a page where you can either block out dates, snooze your listing, unpublish and delete.

For more information about each item, see below.

Blocking Out Dates (Calendar)

For when Digs are unavailable on specific dates but still want to appear in searches and receive enquiries for some time in the future, Hosts can set a 'block out' period in the calendar.

Just tap on 'Update Calendar'.

For more information on blocking dates, see our help article: How to manage your Calendar.

Snoozing

Snooze digs for a set period of time (as long or as short as needed).

For when Hosts can't respond to new enquiries - take digs offline temporarily, and set a republish date to be auto-republished later.

Simply scroll down and enter the desired date for the listing to be republished and tap 'Snooze Listing'.

Temporarily Unpublishing

Unpublish digs until Hosts are ready to receive reservations again.

For when Hosts can't respond to booking requests for an indefinite amount of time. Digs can be manually republished by the Host at any point.

Simply tap 'Unpublish Listing'.

Note: If you snooze or unpublish, you’ll still host your Guests for any confirmed bookings.

Republishing your Digs

A snoozed or unpublished listing can be reactivated at any point with one click of a button. This action will make digs show up in searches and be able to receive bookings again.

Simply follow steps 1 - 2 above and then tap 'Republish Listing'.

Note: If digs were unpublished by our team, Hosts can contact us to getting up and running again. More about that in this article: Why is my listing suspended/unpublished?

Permenantly deleting your Digs

To permanently delete digs, all confirmed reservations must be complete.

Deleting a listing won’t impact any reviews about or from Guests - they’ll still show on the public profiles.

Deletion is irreversible. Digs cannot be reactivated after deletion and would have to be uploaded again from scratch if returning.

1. Log into your Host account by tapping on 'Hosts'.

2. Tap on the 'Digs' tab.

3. Locate the listing that you wish to edit and tap 'Details' to to show the Digs overview page.

4. Tap on 'Manage Bookability'.

5. Scroll down and tap on 'Delete Digs'.

6. Tap 'Ok'.

7. If successful, you will be greeted with the below message:
