It's been a busy 9 years building TheatreDigsBooker, and the past 18 months has seen some of our biggest changes yet.

We're now a small team of 11 who work extremely hard to improve transparency within the arts and we are very proud of all we have achieved so far. We are continuously aiming to improve our services and amid all of the excitement, it can be easy to lose focus of the bigger picture.

That's why we pulled ourselves back to the drawing board and with the help of David Orange at Talk Staff, we revisited our company aim and objectives.

After many months of meetings, discussions and planning, our new company Vision, Mission and Values were finally ready to be shared with the team. To celebrate the launch, we took a rare day out of the office and gathered at Derby Theatre for a fun-filled day hosted by David.

We kickstarted the day with some team-building activities such as volleyball, team quizzes and theatre building, as well as trying our hand at performing... we'll be leaving that one to the professionals!

It was a productive morning full of activities, ideas and lots of laughter, and a great opportunity for inter-team bonding.

After a delicious lunch at Wagamama's, we headed back to the theatre for the grand reveal of our new mission, vision and values!

We took the time to discuss them, understand the meaning behind them and reflect on why they were important to us. With you, our lovely Guests and Hosts at the centre of everything we do, we also considered how they can benefit you in our practices, providing a great opportunity to share ideas for future developments.

It was then time for a few team photographs as well as an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, courtesy of Derby Theatre. Whilst some of the team here at TheatreDigsBooker have experienced life on stage, many of us have not so it was a great opportunity for us to gain a small insight into the working life of a Guest of tour.

Before wrapping up for the day, we explored the fly gallery, the [sound/lighting box] and also experienced being centre stage. We were lucky enough to meet a few members from the Blood Brothers production, as well as take a sneak peak during their rehearsals.

Our fabulous tour guide, [NAME] shared lots of interesting details about the theatre, it's heritage and the inner workings of it's unique operations.

We had a great time and would like to thank Derby Theatre for welcoming us and providing a wonderful backstage tour.

We'd also like to thank Blood Brothers for allowing us to see behind the scenes, and David Orange at Talk Staff Group Belper for all of the hard work he has put in to helping with the day and hosting the event.
